What is a Ticket Panel?
A ticket panel is an embedded message in your Discord server that contains buttons for creating support tickets. Think of it as a welcome desk or reception area – it's where users go when they need help. The panel displays information about your support system and provides clear buttons for different types of requests.
Each panel can be customized with your own branding, including custom colors, titles, descriptions, and button labels. You can create as many panels as you need – Ticket King doesn't limit you to just one.
Panel vs. Ticket: The Difference
It's important to understand the distinction between panels and tickets:
Panel
A static message with buttons that stays in a channel. Users interact with it to create tickets. One panel can serve thousands of users.
Ticket
A private channel created when a user clicks a panel button. Each user gets their own ticket channel for their specific support request.
Why Multiple Panels?
Many Discord servers need more than one ticket panel. Here's why unlimited panels are essential:
Different Departments
A gaming community might need separate panels for general support, bug reports, and ban appeals. Each panel routes to different staff roles and categories, keeping everything organized.
Different Channels
Place panels in different channels based on context. A "Support" panel in your help channel and a "Partnership" panel in your business channel makes navigation intuitive for users.
Different Languages
International communities can create panels in multiple languages. An English panel in #support-en and a Spanish panel in #soporte-es, each with localized text and routing.
Different Access Levels
Create panels with different visibility. A public support panel for everyone and a VIP panel in a members-only channel with priority response times.
